give you tips on studyin properly and how to study in a proper manner .

~if u are studying enging for example u can listen to english music as it will help u concentrate on studying and not get distracted.

~Preparing for the spelling test can be tricky, at times. In our home, Mom studied the dictionary, making a list of words and their meanings, that sounded the same when spoken, but had different spellings and meanings. She went through various steps to aid us in winning spelling tests.

List of similar words, with meanings.
List of words that were not spelled as they sounded, such as "ph" for "f".
List of double letter words, such as "pittance" and "bookkeeping".
List of words ending in "ence", "ance", "ent", "ant", and similar endings.
Learned how to properly pronounce and state word in a spelling test manner.

Mom not only helped us win numerous spelling tests, but we write, speak, and read with ease. An added plus was that Mom furthered her own education and vocabulary.

Dad would pick words out of a magazine or his evening newspaper and expect us to spell it in the proper manner. If we were wrong, he would say, "That's not what it says here." Then we were told to go look it up in the big dictionary. That's how we learned about different spellings, such as UK English and US English.
